Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾(pink, purple, yellow, blue)
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine dry ingredients in a bowl: whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Cream butter and sugars until fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla extract.
  4. Slowly mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Divide dough into four portions and color each one separately.
  6. Gently swirl pieces of each color together, forming cookie dough balls.
  7. Place on the baking sheet, press chocolate chips on top, and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  8. Cool on the sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

  • For thicker cookies, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking.

  • To prevent excessive color mixing, fold the colors together gently rather than over-mixing.

  • Customize your cookies with white chocolate chips, Easter sprinkles, or a light drizzle of icing
