Fantasy Fudge Recipe

- 3 cups granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2/3 cup evaporated milk
- 1 package (12 ounces) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 jar (7 ounces) marshmallow creme
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- Line a 9-inch square baking pan with foil, leaving an overhang on two opposite sides. Grease the foil with butter or cooking spray.
- In a heavy saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar, butter, and evaporated milk. Stir continuously until the mixture comes to a boil. Continue boiling for 4-5 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in chocolate chips until fully melted.
- Add marshmallow creme and vanilla extract, stirring until well combined.
- If desired, fold in chopped nuts.
- Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
- Allow the fudge to cool at room temperature until set.
- Once set, lift the fudge from the pan using the foil overhang. Cut into squares.
