Refreshing Grape Salad

Ingredients

  • 4 cups red seedless grapes, halved
  • 4 cups green seedless grapes, halved
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the red and green grapes.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together sour cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. Pour the sour cream mixture over the grapes and gently toss until the grapes are evenly coated.
  4. In a small pan over medium heat, toast the chopped pecans with brown sugar until they become fragrant and caramelized. Stir constantly to avoid burning.
  5. Allow the pecans to cool, then sprinkle them over the grape mixture.
  6. Refrigerate the grape salad for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
