Spicy Asian Pork Stir-Fry

  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup snap peas, trimmed
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add ground pork and cook until browned and cooked through, breaking it apart with a spatula.
  3. Add sliced onion, bell pepper, and snap peas. Stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until vegetables are slightly tender.
  4. Stir in minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, Sriracha, and sesame oil. Pour the sauce over the pork and vegetables, stirring to combine.
  6. Continue to cook for another 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly and coats the ingredients.
  7. Garnish with sliced green onions and serve the spicy pork stir-fry over cooked rice.
