Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Nutella for filling
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or heavy-bottomed pot to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, turning once.
  6. Remove the donuts from the oil and drain on paper towels.
  7. Allow the donuts to cool slightly, then fill a pastry bag with Nutella and pipe it into the center of each donut.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Be cautious while filling the donuts with Nutella to avoid burns, and ensure the oil is at the right temperature for a perfect golden brown finish.
