Instructions

  1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. In the Instant Pot, combine the rinsed rice, water, and salt (if using).
  3. Close the Instant Pot lid, set the valve to the sealing position, and select the “Manual” or “Pressure Cook” function.
  4. Set the cooking time to 12 minutes on high pressure.
  5. Once the cooking time is complete, allow a natural pressure release for 10 minutes, then perform a quick pressure release.
  6. Fluff the rice with a fork and let it sit for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, make sure to follow the recommended natural pressure release time to allow the rice to finish cooking and achieve the desired texture. Adjust salt according to personal preference, and feel free to add herbs or seasonings for extra flavor.
